Introducing.......

Stella, Holly, Sandy and Kerry these are Charlotte's fairies which we made together yesterday afternoon out of pipe cleaners, flowers, wool and ribbon. It entertained Charlotte for around 10 minutes then she got bored and was ready to move onto the next thing. lol

Well, we are on the second week of the summer holidays and I swear I'm getting alot more grey hairs!. Generally Charlotte is a good girl, but when boredom kicks in the little devil in her takes hold. We have a thing for playing around in the bathroom at the moment, which normally involves lots of toilet tissue and water!. I just wish the weather would cheer-up a bit as she loves to get outside and play in her sandpit, and in her little play house.

I'm really looking forward to the crop at Bromsgrove tomorrow I'm so ready for some 'me' time.

Thanks for looking.

BeeCrafty

I have been busy doing some layouts for Bee Crafty which is my local craft shop. I was given the Crafts House papers which were pretty pastels along with some lovely blossoms to play with. Julie is uploading my layouts on there blog, and 'Topsy' is on there at the moment (which is my personal favourite). Go grab yourself a cuppa and take a look at there website, they some fab stuff on there. http://www.beecrafty.com/ .So this time round I have got some yummy 7Gpysies papers to play with and I can't wait to get stuck into those, but it's like any new paper I have to lovingly stroke it and just look at it for a while before cutting into it. Please say I'm not the only one that does this?

I've also put on my pencil lines sketch for this week too, for once I have scrapped myself which is extremely rare. I love the Craft Fair range from American Crafts which I have used for this layout.

That's all for now. Byeee

Elvis Bread

This is my third layout for the Scrapagogo Birthday bash challenge, for this one you had to use the title 'Once Upon a time'..., use a border somewhere on the layout and use some Prima packaging. The photo I used was of Charlotte walking in long grass when we went for a picnic one lazy Sunday afternoon.
Charlotte said the most sweetest thing the other day. I asked her what she would like to eat for lunch, she replied chocolate spread on Elvis bread, I looked puzzled and thought for a moment and said I think you mean Hovis bread!! The mind of a 4 year old is just wonderful and the sayings they come up with is just brilliant. I'm just so glad I document these moments as they are so easily forgotten.
Thanks for stopping by

Hello and Welcome

Today has been a good one, we spent it with friends catching up with each others news and going for a nice meal. I just wish this weather would sort itself out though, it would have been so nice to have sat outside, but still that's English weather for you. I did however pop into Hobbycraft on our way home from the restaurant and pick up some American Thickers.

I was lucky enough to have my parents staying with us last week for the start of the school holidays. They really enjoy being with Charlotte playing with her and spending time with her. I can't believe she is starting school in September. We have got most of her school uniform just the school shoes and plimsolls to get. Luckily mum has stitched in the name labels for me as I'm really rubbish at sewing, she's also having to make alterations to the skirts too as I think she will be spending all day pulling them up as they slip off her. It's really scary to think she is starting 'Big' school as she's still so little, but I guess we all have to go through it.

I'm really enjoying taking part in the challenges for there Birthday bash over at Scrapagogo this month and have done the first two and I'm now onto the third one. I've attached the second weeks challenge which was to use a transparency as the main backing paper. I've been wanting to scrap these photos of Charlotte last December when we bought her her first bike.
Be sure to pop by again, I will be updating the blog on a regular basis.
